=== Bushcraft AXE with Hard Steel Cutting Edge and Hand Carved Dogwood Handle ===

Manufactured by ΛdiThiel – the ArchaeoSmith

***

I am Adam Thiele, Ph.D. Besides my scientific activity I have been working as a smith since 1998. I use ΛdiThiel as a brand name for my products. The name the ArchaeoSmith explains my main activity.
The body of this axe is forged of low-carbon steel and its cutting edge is of high-carbon steel forge-welded into the body. Its body is tough while the hammer poll and the cutting edge are hardened. The cutting edge is sharpened, hard and durable. The handle was carved of dogwood which is the best woodtype for short handled tools, eg. axes, hammers, etc. The head is fixed on the handle with an iron fixing part that protects the handle as well during splitting wood.
This axe is a massive, well-balanced and nice woodworking tool for everyday use.
